Richard Roenfeldt, CPA - Partner
Richard graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. in Accounting and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1979. Mr. Roenfeldt was a member of the firm from 1979 to 1982. Then in January of 1987 he joined the team once again. Richard has over 30 years of experience managing audit and tax engagements and specializes in Corporate taxation. Rich and his wife, Sandy, have three adult children and a mess of grandchildren. In his free time, Rich likes to watch the cubs, work on his various vehicles, and garden.
Duane Lockas, CPA - Partner
Duane graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. in Accounting and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1987. He has over 35 years of experience in preparation of income tax returns and managing audit engagements. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has served on a variety of community boards during his 35+ years as a professional. Duane and his wife, Cindy, have three adult children, Brett (Amanda), Kassie (Drew), and Fielding (Bree) and four grandchildren. Outside of the office, Duane likes to golf poorly, work outside, and spend time with his family.
Craig Emmett - Staff Accountant
Craig attended Lewis University and has over 30 years of experience in the field of accounting. Craig spent the first 15 years in corporate accounting for a top Fortune 500 company as a Controller and brought that knowledge forward assisting businesses in the area. Craig does individual income taxes, but he specializes in corporate taxation. If you need a CFO and are unable to hire a full-time person, Craig can work with you and your staff to improve internal controls, develop business plans, provide monthly monitoring, and maximize output while minimizing cost.
Local community service includes serving as treasurer for LaSalle County Easter Seals, past president of the Ottawa Noon Rotary and the Ottawa Lions Club, and volunteering at events. Craig and his wife Kim have two daughters, Amber, and Heidi (Rook) Nelson, as well as a grandson named Rocket. Outside of the office, Craig enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, watching the Cubs and golfing.
Kim Kleckner, CPP - Payroll Specialist
Kim joined our office in 2017. Along with her smile, Kim brings 5 years experience in bookkeeping backed by an Associates in Accounting earned at IVCC. When visiting our office, don't be put off by Kim addressing you as Sir or Ma'am; she's from the South and doesn't mean any harm. When not at work, or caring for her 4 children, Kim enjoys Cubs games, movies, and area restaurants.
